The Protector of Innocence amplifies the spiritual power of the guardian and creates a large protective field around Daphne protecting her from all attacks.

The Guardian Helm was given to Daphne by a powerful mage as a means to ensure that the guardian spirit does not overtake Daphne as no one is exactly sure whether the will of the guardian is for good or for evil.

• The generals tab info under Daphne says: "When attacked in guild battle, 5 damage done to you is deflected back on ". This is correct for her ability at level 1. However, when she is level 2 or above, the tab info displays the same message even though her actual ability in the full profile is different.
• Modified on 5/01/2013 to include % deflection based on user's damage rune; however, this modification seems to have eliminated the 'extra resistance' that used to be gained by using Daphne (deflected damage being taken off the damage taken by the user)
• Can be linked in the General Alliance.

Etymology

In Greek mythology, Daphne was a minor nature deity. Chased by Apollo, she begged the gods for help, who then transformed her into Laurel (In Greek "Daphne" /'dæfni:/; Greek: Δάφνη).
