- To get one copy of Groot, you needed to reach the Gladiator rank in Colosseum III. You could also get additional copies by finishing the season in the top 100:
Top 1-10: Groot x 3, Top 11-50: Groot x 2, Top 51-100: Groot x 1. - About 146 players reached Gladiator in Colosseum III and thus obtained Groot (details).
- Groot's ability is basically the same as the other Deflect generals' ability. It's slightly different however as it also deflects a percentage of the incoming damage. Furthermore, his ability fully stacks with the other Deflect generals' ability when allied with one of them.
- At release and for about 2 days, Groot was bugged: instead of deflecting 20% of your Damage Rune, it seemed it was deflecting it 20 times. Which meant attacking a player using Groot could deal over a hundred thousand damage to the attacker in a single hit (for the players with the biggest Damage Runes and damage boosting generals).
Additional Recruit Methods[]
- TGroot was one of the "Best" level ultimate prizes in the Warm Winter Gift House event in December 2021. He was unlocked at Stage 50 along with Trundle, and a total of three copies could be obtained during the event.
