You awake in a dark land. The land is cloaked in darkness with the only light coming from lightning flashing down on the plains in the distance. You see a dark figure approach you. You move your hand towards your blade but then you see a familiar face. It is Azeron, the Demi-God of Redemption. Why is he in this place? Is he the reason that you are here? Your mind races back to what seemed like moments ago. A fierce battle with Ambrosia. Your head starts to throb and the pain overtakes you. The last thing you see is Azeron bending down towards your limp body and everything goes black.
You awake in a dark room. The air around you is frigid and your body shivers uncontrollably. Out of the corner of your eye, you see Azeron lying against the cold stone walls.
Azeron: "You are awake warrior. I was not sure you would make it back from the dark depths this time. We have little time and I know you have many questions so I will be quick."
Azeron explains that Malekus had made a pact to lend his strength to Mephistopheles for Mephistopheles' invasion. In exchange Mephistopheles would share the power of the souls of those that fell in battle with Malekus, and together they would both grow stronger with each passing victory. Although Mephistopheles was eventually defeated at your hands, Mephistopheles's invasion killed most of the Demi-God's followers leaving the other Demi Gods severely weakened, especially Corvintheus after the fall of the Kingdom of Earth. Malekus capitalized on this moment of weakness to enter the thoughts of the other Demi Powers and exert his will on them. He entered their dreams, appealing to their innermost ambitions and desires, and slowly warped their minds beyond recognition. He twisted their consciousnesses and sent them after you.
You: "Why were you not affected like the other Demi-Gods?"
Azeron: "Malekus had tried to do the same but I had made my peace with my inner darkness eons ago... As for you, every time you allow the power of Mephistopheles to take over in battle, both Mephistopheles and Malekus will grow stronger. You must defeat Malekus before it is too late warrior. You will not yet be able to wield the full power of Mephistopheles without losing control, and I cannot defeat Malekus in his current state. Together we might have a chance but we must move quickly. The final battle awaits."
Pangaea is the 15th area available for questing in Castle Age. To unlock the Pangaea, you must complete the special mission in Fire II (A Mighty Figure).
Main Quest 1: The Redeemer[]
The Redeemer
The Redeemer Azeron tells you of the long journey ahead and that you must prepare not only your body but your soul as well as it will be challenged by Mephistopheles power.
Dark Chasm You reach an enormous chasm. The only way across is most likely through the valley floor. From your high vantage point you see a group of wights that you must fight through.
Towards Rodinia Azeron says that the town of Rodinia may have some answers to help you regain your strength. However, your sixth sense gives you a bad feeling about the town.
Eerie Silence As you arrive in Rodinia, the town is eerily silent, further reinforcing your uneasiness. You discover a crypt and figure that is where your journey must lead.
The Citadel As you make your way underground, you find a large cavern housing a citadel. You make your way there but are stopped by a keeper of the gate. Defeat it!
Face Off The war rages on but you finally reach the top of the castle. Standing alone with a large axe and greatsword is the mighty Malekus. He stares at you and moves in your direction.

Malekus: "So we finally meet face-to-face. It is a shame that Mephistopheles fell to a mortal like you. I never thought him so weak that he would be felled by a mere mortal, and even more pitiful is the fact he is entrapped within your fragile mortal body. It does not matter. I will end this now and take all those souls for myself and I will be unstoppable."
Azeron: "Stop this Malekus! This is madness. We Demi-Gods were put here to maintain the balance of the worlds. Why do you seek power?"
Malekus: "A fool as always Azeron. These mortals are foolish, insignificant insects that are meant to do our bidding. We are powerful beings. If you had joined forces with me eons ago, we would have ruled with absolute power. But you stoop to the level of mortals and empathize with them. It is pathetic!"
Malekus raises his hand and with an invisible force picks Azeron up and slams him against the castle wall. Azeron falls motionless. Malekus turns to your direction and tries to do the same but there is no effect.
Malekus: "It must be that fool Mephistopheles. No matter. I will end this will my bare hands!"
Malekus walks towards you. You grasp your blade and feel it pulse between your fingers. You prepare for battle.
